      <description>&lt;p&gt;In the heart of the Boreal Forest, Slave Lake and surrounding communities are a recreational paradise year round.&amp;nbsp; Hiking, quadding, kayaking, canoeing, boating, fishing, ....the list goes on and on.&amp;nbsp; The Town of Slave Lake is located on the east end of Lesser Slave Lake -the biggest lake that lies totally within the borders of the province.&amp;nbsp; With a population of approxiamtely 7,000, it is full service community with hotels, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores in addition to&amp;nbsp;a variety of retail stores, including Walmart and Canadian Tire.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The town has an extensive walking and bike trail system that runs through the town and&amp;nbsp;north to the provincial park.&amp;nbsp; In addition to an outdoor recreational focus, Slave Lake is host to a number organized sporting activities and their associated facilities , which include, soccer, baseball, swimming, hockey, curling and dance.&amp;nbsp;Slave Lake is a progressive and growing community.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If in-town living &amp;quot;isn&amp;#39;t your bag&amp;quot;, you might consider acreage life or just the &amp;quot;close-knit community&amp;quot; offered in one of the outlying hamlets, like Wagner, Widewater or Canyon Creek.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Whatever your needs, or desires, if you are considering moving to Slave Lake or the area (or moving within the area)...give me call , I&amp;#39;d love to help you&lt;/p&gt;</description>
