You did read right. After many budget meetings and careful consideration, the board of Directors was able to lower the condo fees on average 17%. We have noticed an interesting phenomenon over the past couple of years. Rentors, or as we like to say "Guests," prefer to stay directly on the beach. We get the same phone call over and over..."Do you have a place directly on the beach?" After you see the pictures, you will know what I am talking about! Additionally, the resort is just across the street from the beach. In other words, you get the best of both worlds. There are fabulous waterfront views with a marina open for guests to fish, crab and boat while the beach is only steps away.

Guests just don't want to hear it. That is until they stay there. If we can find a open ear, the guests leave and often say "you were right!"

Interestingly enough, we have found that second-home end users prefer the bay side over the beach side. They cite lower crowds, views and the boating/marina capabilities as reasons for perferring this side of the bay. Plus, they can just walk across the street to enjoy the beach.
