KNOWLEDGE::: Just keeping you informed of a great "FREE Event" coming up Saturday & Sunday February 23rd and 24th, 2008 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. at the Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead. For all those that are into re-cycling,,,here is the story:

WHAT IS E-WASTE??? It's defined as any consumer electronic equipment that has reached its 'end-of-usage', whether in full or non-working condition. Example: computer monitors, tv's, printers, cell phones, etc.....

*Electronic discards are one of the fastest growing segments of our nation's waste stream..**56% of American households have functional e-products that they no longer use.***Less than 10% of e-waste is currently being properly dismantled or recycled.****70% of heavy metals, 40% of lead and mercury contents found in today's landfills come from e-waste.....
