3. Walking, Hiking & Biking - Autumn is no time to stay indoors, not when it's such a fine time to take in the views that are particularly spectacular during fall foliage season. To name a few trails & parks in Northern Fairfield County: Bennett's Pond in Ridgefield, Dingle Brook in Newtown, Paugussett State Forest Park in Newtown, Squantz Pond State Park, Tarrywile Park & Mansion in Danbury, Bear Mountain Reservation in Danbury, Old Quarry Nature Center in Danbury.
4. Oktoberfest - Annual Oktoberfest Jazz concert at Danbury's Ives Concert Hall on October 31st.
5. Corn Maze, Hay Rides & Pumpkin Patches - Castle Hill Farm's Corn Maze will be open from September 27th to October 31st, 2008 & Pumpkin Patch will be open from October 4th to October 31st, 2008. Located in Newtown, Connecticut
