The 20 Unit Apartment Building that was proposed to be constructed next to Bing's Bakery failed to win the backing of the city planning commission this week. The commission voted unanimously on August 5, 2008 to recommend the Newark City Council disapprove the developer's plan for 257 E. Main Street. The developer is Jeff Lang.
