Hal, I think this is a remarkable institution, especially the fact that they do this all free of charge. Let's hope they can continue this great service. Thanks for posting this important information.
Who knows...I may need to check into this soon :)
WOW, I know ambulance service is expensive. That's an amazing service for area residents.
I never heard of anything like this. What a great service.
Hi Bob,
You are very welcome. Yes, it is an important service! Who would have thought a community as large or small depending on how you look at it, would think far enough ahead to put a benefit like this in place.
Hi Sally,
I don't think you are ready for that kind of a ride. You keep yourself too busy and fit! Howsever, when the time comes, we will be there waiting for you.
Hi Laura,
Yes, the cost to be transported is unbelievable. More then $600.00 plus services from home to the hospital. And that is within a radius of three miles.
A wonderful benefit for the community to be sure.
Hi Paddy,
Yes, it truly is. In addition to the hundreds the service saved the riders, it also saves the county more then three million dollars per year. Isn't that staggering! We and all the residents that live in our community are so very lucky.
Thanks for stopping by.
Now here's a service I never thought about needing, and I'll be not many people do. Yet you've made a great case for its value!
Hi Margaret,
Thank you for commenting.
This service is a huge benefit to the residents of the community. One that is unthough of until the need arises. It provides a huge savings not only to the residents but to the county as well.
