To buy or not to buy.......

I'm concern of all the buzz created whether is time to buy or not, are we at the bottom?

As a person, i always brought whatever fitted my needs and vision since I was 18; as a Realtor when people ask me how's business, I always answer: well...... just fine, there was a Seller market and there's a Buyer market now!

I'm getting sick of people looking for the bottom, not realizing and considering what's their real goal...... the "American Dream".

Not to mention that when we're sure we hitted the bottom, which I believe is just round the corner 5-10%, it going to be too late, because we'll realize it by seeing price WENT up!!!

So the question is, not if we're at bottom but rather: Am I pursuing my goals, and do I have the right Realtor accomodating my object?

In my personal opinion, I see the market almost at his bottom, not quite at the end, and that's when Savvy buyers act and hold....... go read your 45 hr post license book.

Also, I see many Realtors or so called.... dimish our category and make crystal ball guessing, just change career; beeing pessimistic never helped any business!

I personally "feel" something coming for the Tampa Bay area, a Shuttle is coming to serve downtown and airport, Hystory center will be up by December 2008 and Superbowl too; did I mention European are buying us out!

Once again......... is my opinion, and after 2007 a little optimism won't bother; let me know what you guys think.

Hey Antonio!

When you combine the tightening credit market we are at the bottom. Changes scheduled for March will keep thousands of buyer out of the market.

Tell all your clients to buy, lock, and get your deal into underwriting right now

Happy Selling!

Hey Antonio,

Ross Quintana - Spokane Real Estate Agents Every market is unique and a person should both know and be able to recognize trends in their market. The global market is only a factor, but your local market and it's trends are information realtors should have. IF they don't know this is bad and they shouldn't guess by what they hear on the news.

In our market, we sell lifestyle.  We all know there is no bottom.  What we focus on with buyers that are waiting for the bottom is to educate them on the postive factors that currently exist and explain to them what could happen to those positive factors if they wait.

Antonio, Welcome to active Rain, our markets median price rose %5 last year, though the number of sales were down.  All real estate is local and the media sometimes forget that.
