Every week or so, I look at the list of all the Atlanta foreclosures and I was amazed at some of the prices! You can buy a gorgeous 3 bed / 4 bath condo in the heart of Castleberry Hill for $749,000 or a 2 bed / 1 bath condo for $4,997 on Memorial Drive in the Edgewood / East Atlanta area.
Please note that I haven't been in all of these homes, and you need to proceed with caution if you are interested in any of the Atlanta condos that are listed at an exceptionally low price. I highly recommend working with a real estate agent (a Buyer's Agent) when purchasing a foreclosure property.

Sounds like a steal Kerry. Are these condos priced around $5k major fixers?
@ Mike - Yes many of them are, but there are several foreclosures listed where the bank owns all or most of the condo building, so it may be that the condo is fine, but the building itself needs an overhaul and there isn't an HOA reserve fund the handle the repairs. It's a sad story for the previous owners, but a good opportunity for a savvy investor.
