The Cinco Ranch Ladies Club recently held it's July meeting with learning to "Zumba" dance. Taught by Judith Vidas our resident dance instructor and Membership Chairperson for the 2008-2009 season. It was a nice turnout since our regular programs do not start until August 26th, which is Rush Night. That begins our official year. Meeting are help the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Golf Club at Cinco Ranch located at the corner of Peek & Cinco Ranch Blvd.
The Cinco Ranch Ladies Club is one of the great things about buying a home in Cinco Ranch. If you are from the area or transferring in from around the world, it's the perfect place to make new friends and form instant support groups. There are groups and activities for all age ranges and interest, from Children's Play Groups to Poker. We also host several social activities during the year that include spouses. You can wear whatever you are comfortable in, from shorts to coming straight from work. The dues are only $25 a month, and we have a different speaker, or event for each month of the year. Starting this year you will have the option of receiving your monthly newsletter by e-mail or regular mail. So please consider this your personal invitation to come and join the Cinco Ranch Ladies Club.
I am a charter member and will be happy to answer any questions you might have. Below is the July invitation that has some additional details of what is new this year. You can reach me at www.lizcarter.com, or call my office, Liz Carter & Team Realty at 281-391-SOLD (7653). Look forward to seeing you at one of the meetings. Liz Carter

You better send kg an invitation next time you go!
Sounds like fun Liz..also I think its awesome about the backpacks we do that at the Board..this year there are fewer donations.
Kingie...
I'm honored you came by to see me :), but who is kg? L
Midori...
It really is a great club and makes it nice when you sell a house in Cinco to tell the women about it. A lot of people here are oil co., so they are transferred a lot (good for me :). I was heavily involved for many years, and served on the board as just about everything including president the last year I was on the board. But I finally needed a break, and it's really nice to just be able to go and not have to do a ton of work. How was SF?...pictures? L
Liz, it looks like you had a lot of fun. So what is a zumba dance?
Marchel...
I was just thinking about you! We need to talk more, I miss you. I think it's supposed to be Zamba :), but was saying the way they did on the e-mail...I'll check with Yudith maybe it's a South American dance I haven't heard of. I'm sure it's just misspelled though. L
Liz, I have never heard like Marchel what Zumba dance is either. It sounds like a blast though.
Gary...
All I can tell you was it was typical Latin, loud, fast, and fun :-). I didn't make it too far, but some of those girls like Yudith, amazing. It was very pretty too. Liz
