About Us:

I am Chris Skrip and I am a full-time Realtor here in Beaufort South Carolina. I was born in Coral Gables, Florida and lived most of my life in Sandy Springs and Alpharetta, Georgia. I graduated from Milton High School in Alpharetta.

After high school, I joined the United States Marine Corp. and went through my training at Parris Island Recruit Depot here in Beaufort. As anyone that has gone through training at Parris Island knows - - during those months, I swore that I would never return to Beaufort.

Well as life happened, the love of the water and the South Carolina coast kept drawing me back to Beaufort for vacations year after year. I absolutely fell in love with this town and its residents. I am very proud to call Beaufort my home!

My motto is "I run my business like I served my country....with honor and integrity!" I am very proud of my years in the United States Marine Corp. I do not take this motto mildly. As a young man Chris served his country in the United States Marine Corps. The rigorous training on Parris Island deepened his sense of commitment in profound ways.Those who have undergone the many trials and jumped the many hurdles of boot camp know that the endurance gained and the sense of duty acquired is unmatched. While leaving Parris Island was a welcome thought, it didn't take too long to get Chris back to the Beaufort area. Once he and his wife, Maria, found themselves on a friend's boat, sipping wine and watching the most beautiful sunset of their lives, they decided right then and there to move.

And now, Chris is completely devoted to the lifestyle, from taking out the boat for a fishing expedition to enjoying a round of golf on a local course. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be," Chris says. "Beaufort is the perfect place to settle down."
