Cardinal Condos in South Austin have more square footage

Cardinal Condos have lots of square footage !

Have you looked at condos lately ? High rise, low rise, they are mostly small spaces...one bedroom.

Unit B-1 has 1442 square feet of beautiful space !

That is the size of a house in South Austin. (A small old house at that---for the same price)

This is a new build condo complex that has privacy from the neighbors...some have yards, some have balconies, there is a good mix of floor plans...so they all dont look alike. And walk to local coffee, tacos etc.

Everything is new and modern...clean lines, with natural elements...hard wood floors, italitan limestone counter tops...nice!

AND a garage...what? A great condo with a 2 car carage? Yes...$329,900. Lets talk about it if you have an interest. 512-663-4048

Want to live near downtown Austin, in a new property, modern design, garage, large space? YES !

I can show you what is out there and you can compare for yourself.

Sofi vs. Soco Cute Cardinal Condo wins

Lets compare The Belair to the Cardinal Condos.

Both have garages for convenience, views, and outdoor spaces.

The Belair outdoor space is a cool roof top deck. The Cardinal has ground level areas.

So we are even so far.

The Belair finish out is more raw than the Cardinal. Or should I say the Cardinal is more refined.

Not everyone likes the cinder block walls of the Belair...eventhough they are really sound and fire retarant.

The Cardinal has its textured sheet rock.

I like the block. One up for Belair.

One thing I really dont like at the Belair are the stairs...I like the metal, but they make so much noise.

The Cardinal has wood; not too quiet but better than metal.

Even Steven...

Both have good views, aprox. the same distance to Downtown. Both have surrounding areas that are changing...and improving.

Belair has tankless water heaters. Cardinal has Low E windows...and interesting in their shapes, sizes and locations.

In my opinion...I say the Cardinal is ahead because it has more timeless features. The Belair seems more trendy...I would purchase in the Cardinal Condo Community!

My favorite unit at Cardinal is B1. Sooooo many windows, all shapes, sizes and cool locations. Go take a look at this one.

Art Party at the Cardinal

Thought Provoking Art, Interesting People, AND a Great Place to live ! SNAP

Last night's Art party was a hit. Perry's Prudential Team had a great event. Thanks so much !

I am here working at the open house at the Cardinal Condo's today. What a great party last night... some of the art is still here...LOVE IT ! Come by and get some ideas of what would look great in your new home...If I purchased one of these cool units; I would like the walls to remain white...this way, ANY art will work. It stands out and makes a statement. The colors POP !

The Cardinal Condos have a great feeling of spaciousness. Unit B1 has a smaller living area, but the windows make it seem very spacious. Kitchen / Living combo on the first floor; and bedrooms up. I would describe the design as clean lines with a modern feeling. Sinple easy living...

Yes, with a party every once in a while...Great ! Other than that, clean, easy living !!!

Visit me at 707 Cardinal...next to the Mercury Hall; just off South First.

if I am not here tell them DowntownDian sent you.

Small Spaces: What is the best use of the space?

I moved to Downtown Austin into a very small unit. It is just enough space for me...528 sf.

What I had to do was make every inch work. I had to sell my beautiful 8 ft. white retro sofa and other extra furniture I did not need.

I set up my home office...where a dining table would normally be.

For dining, I have a small round table in the corner of the living area that I pull out to the middle of the room with 2 dining chairs; when I have a guest... If it is just me--I eat at that table where it is.

I got a smaller TV to fit against one wall of the living area, a loveseat on the opposite wall.

I have enough room for a coffee table, 2 chairs, 2 guest chairs, a desk chair, 2 bar stools, AND a POANG. That means I can seat 10. Can you believe it?

The next project is to get 2 bookcases one to store my decor books and magazines...and the other to store my other books and records.

I did not have room for a standing vaccumme, so I purchased a small one that I can strap on my back when in use. And hang on a hook in the walk in closet to store.

The walk in closet is great. That is the next project after the bookcases. I will purchase a combination washer and dryer unit...and build every inch for storage...hanging clothing, hooks, and shelves.
