• There's so much to see and do! You can dine 2 miles up at the top of Sandia Crest, after riding the Sandia Peak Tramway. New Mexico's a great place for digging dinosaurs; or make it easy on yourslef and visit those already dug up at the Natural History Museum! Those of us who live hear appreciate all those advantages above on a full-time basis. We also have the economic and technologicaly advantages of having both Sandia National Laboratory and Kirtland Air Force Base located here in Albuquerque. Intel, in nearby Rio Rancho, is another high-tech economic powerhouse, and the new Mesa del Sol development is starting to bring in lots of high-tech business as well as movie industry money.

And our real estate market is solid. We've avoided the "boom and bust" cycles prevalent in other areas. In Albuquerque, the average sales price of a home actually was higher in 2007 than in 2006!
