The Flood Mapping for Orange County will go into effect March 2009 ( Provided there are no appeals or protests). It is going to be interesting to find out what new areas are going to added to the Flood Map causing a large number of resident to be forced to purchase Flood Insurance. Large number of residents in other Florida counties that just recently had their Flood Map revised are contacted by their mortgage company to purchase coverage.
It is going to be interesting!
