About Us:Who Is Toni Bird?

I moved to the Birmingham area is 1991 and absolutely love it here. Prior to that time, I moved 21 different times and lived in Massachusetts, Florida, Texas and Oklahoma. I know it is not easy to just pick up and move and have several suggestions to make your move go smoothly. Prior to my Real Estate career, which began in 1998, I was in the Mortgage business. This mortgage background helps me find the best mortgage deals for my clients - and helps them stay out of trouble with financing that is not quite right for them. I am married and have 2 children, ages 25 and 14. You may see me about town as I am involved in activities with my church-Discovery United Methodist, Bumpus Middle School and the community. I am affiliated with Prudential South O' Town Realty which is a company that has been in the Birmingham Real Estate arena for over 32 years. I was attracted to this Real Estate company because of their high degree of ethics and intregrity. In 2006, I was named Top Producer for Prudential South O' Town, which was a great honor for me considering all the fine associates that can be found within our company. I have been selling single family homes in the Hoover and Greater Birmingham area since 1998. I believe education is important and have received designations as a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Only 4% of the realtors nationwide have this designation which shows a commitment to gaining information and training which will enable me to better help my clients. I believe in using the internet to market my properties through the use of Visual Tours and special enhancements to Real Estate websites such as Realtor.com. In 2006, I earned the E-Pro designation through the National Association of Realtors and am currently a member of the Prudential Real Estate Leading Edge Society.
