Sprint looks like the hard times will be falling directly on its current employees in around 3 weeks! Rumor has it they are looking to lay off 7-10,000 employees, including 30%of their VP's.
This could not have come at a worse time for the Kansas City Marketplace due to many stagnant properties that have been on the market for a long period of time, and a ton of over leveraged homeowners whose Adjustable Rate Mortgages are about to expire.
We do not have the final numbers of total lay offs that will happen in our Kansas City area, but we are hoping that it will be limited. If you live here, you surely know of some friends that this news will impact.
Lets keep this in mind, Sprint must do what it thinks is needed in-order to survive as a whole. Lets hope that this decision will help Sprint bounce back quickly. When the final word comes down, let us be helpful to those people who need our help. This is a great opportunity to solidify relationships by contacting our Centers of Influence, family and friends, and help these people get placed into other job positions.
Enjoy the day, it is a gift.
