CROMWELL CONNECTICUT TAX DOLLARS HARD AT WORK...woman caught on tape in pajamas...

Today, Sunday, my sons are to finish their homework before they go back to school tomorrow. Both mentioned on Wednesday (which was a half day due to the holiday) that they had everything they needed.

No surprise here my oldest son mentioned he forgot something in his locker.. this happens frequently. Being a Sunday, and a holiday weekend I thought for sure that the middle school would NOT be open. But I figured why not try... nothing to loose. As it turned out the "Handicap" button worked for the outside door and the inside door was open. We tried to go to his locker, but all the lights were out, and of course my flashlight was dead. At least I now know to get batteries in it before I show another home.

I've lived in Cromwell CT for quite some time now.... and feel I have been an upstanding citizen. So imagine my surprise when on the way home I was pulled over by a police officer. It seems we triggered the silent alarm when we went into the school and they have me on the cameras. This is great news to hear... I'm glad to see/hear that my tax dollar(s) are hard at work... and the police department is doing their job. Now I'm on the monitor system for all to laugh at.. why, am still wearing my pajamas. Imagine the 11pm news... "Realtor pulled over for going into school to get homework".

I think it was actually a good thing that I was pulled over. The police officer didn't think the doors should be working.. so maybe this is a good deed in disguise. Now maybe they will make sure the doors are locked and secure.

Never a dull moment in my life... wish I could see the pictures on the schools cameras... I could use a laugh. Hope you are having a laugh on this one too.

CROMWELL FIRE DEPARTMENT SELLING TREES AND WREATHS

CROMWELL FIRE DEPARTMENT

82 COURT STREET

CROMWELL, CT

VALERIE OSTERHOUDT

The Cromwell Fire Department is selling Christmas Trees and Wreaths on 82 Court Street. When I stopped by today, they had quite a few to choose from. They will be selling these trees and wreaths today, Friday, November 28th through Sunday, November 30th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Then again next week both Saturday, December 6th and Sunday December 7th from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

I will highly recommend if you live in the area to check out these trees and wreaths. The money raised will help support the fire department.. You don't have to cut them, and I'm sure your children (if you have them) would love to pick one out.

For any size tree the price is $35.00. The wreaths start and $22.00 and go up to $60.00. You can get a plain and simple one.. all the way up to an elaboratedly decorated one. There is something there for everyone.

Imagine the smell of fresh cut balsam in your livingroom/or family room. Reminds me of the Christmas's gone by. So, stop by and check out these trees/wreath next time you are in the area.

PLEASE WELCOME VICTORIA MENDYKA TO ACTIVERAIN

Vicki Mendyka

NEW ACTIVERAIN MEMBER

vicki mendyka liberty mutual

Liberty Mutual Insurance Company

Farmington, CT

Last week you might remember I posted a blog about, "Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual Steps Up to The Plate". I was under the gun. A client I had couldn't find insurance for her home she was purchasing. It was a cottage, and didn't fall into a neat little package. No other agency that I called or my client called would even touch this.

That is until I called and spoke with an agent at Liberty Mutual. The agent that worked hard and I thought would be a great asset to ActiveRain is Victoria Mendyka. She just joined ActiveRain today, and I wanted to introduce her to the rest of the members here. If you are looking for insurance for yourself or a client, look no future.. Vicki works hard and gets the job done, in a timely manner, and accurately.

When you have a moment, check out her profile, and give her a warm welcome. Thank you.
