Beautiful Sunset at Red Rock Canyon
This wonderful sunset at Red Rock Canyon right on the edge of Las Vegas Nevada was taken 12-16-2008. I wanted to share it with everyone before you went off to bed, but I may be a little late.
So when you view this photograph in the morning, just try to imagine that it is a sunrise.
As you can see the mountains have snow on them because Las Vegas had some cold weather come in and all the mountains surrounding Las Vegas are all snow capped. It is a beautiful sight to see for us locals, but I really don't think the tourists are real happy about the cold.
I have many more sunset photos that I took, but I wanted to share this special one with you. This photograph would be a great shot for someone that paints water color.

Red Rock Resort has so much to do! This fabulous Hotel and Casino, has so much more than just gambling, it even has a Bowling Alley INSIDE THE RESORT! WOW!
Some By Referral Only folks were hanging out at the bowling alley on Monday night after the Summit.
Did I mention that I used the Queen of Hearts from the Black Deck to Negotiate my way into an additional 15 minutes of bowling at no charge at all?

photo taken by Robert Swetz at Red Rock/ Las Vegas - Nevada 10-4-2008
This beautiful sunset photograph was taken yesterday evening at Red Rock only 20 minutes and less then 7 miles West of Las Vegas, Nevada.
It is a beautiful area were you can hike, picnic, ride bicycle, horses or motorcycles. There are wild borrows all over crossing the roads and living the life.
If you look real closely at this photo you can see this line going across the middle of the pic, there is a white car driving across the road, that gives you a better idea of how big these mountains are.
If you would like to post photographs to a great group at Active Rain, please post them here:

Ok, so just a few short weeks ago, my real estate friend and I Crystal Brummer from Minesota were at a Conference in Las Vegas, and we decided to take a short hike up one of the canyons in Red Rock Canyon.
THE VIEW WAS AMAZING! This place was so breath taking, it's almost mezmarizing. Then, the unthinkable happened, we were watching some rock climbers from a distance, and then we see a gal across the canyon and a lady next to us says "be careful up there, Its a long way down". She takes a few more steps and Bam! We saw her fall! It was horrible to watch! Crystal and I were praying the whole way down she was going to be fine.
Turns out she broke her ankle ... man was she lucky!
