Chunky Salsa

We all have them: Listings that are victims of some good times over the past few years. They're kind of like chunky salsa. Fully loaded, big, fat chunks - the kind that break the the chips when you dig in! Many are spicy with lots of "look at me" pizazz and others are just bland dunks here and there.

Prices in many areas crept up over the last few years during some good times for many. I'm hopeful that once we get through the holiday season, into a new year and full steam ahead with a new president, the "chunky salsa" will thin out a bit and we can all, once again, dig in and enjoy! Consumers will have a restored confidence and financing will once again make the American Dream possible for many deserving individuals and families.

In the meantime, as hosts to many of these listings, how do you plan to thin out the salsa? Do you gently suggest to sellers that a price reduction should be considered? Will you base it on the most recent comparables? Will you be a trailblazer despite what others think? Will you highlight the unique characteristics & features of your listings and lighten things up a bit in all marketing campaigns? Or, will it be like a herd mentality: a few go and the others follow?

Eventually, time will tell and we can all reflect on how this current market affected our lives and those of the consumers around us.

The old saying “home is where the heart is” to me is talking about the family time spent in the kitchen. The kitchen is the heart of the home. That is why kitchen remodeling is one of the most popular home improvement projects.

Kitchen remodeling can be a daunting task. When thinking about remodeling your kitchen think about what types of activities occur or what activities do you want to occur. A warm, inviting, stylish kitchen will bring family and friends together. Countertops are the most single important and necessary part of the kitchen. The surface is the space where all activity takes place. They are essential or every aspect of the kitchen.
